Supported Mobile Phones
-----------------------
Additionally to the mobile phones listed in the Help file, the following phones are also supported in SDS/DES:
S55, S56, SL55, SL56, M55, M56, C60, MC60.

XTNDConnectPC with Lotus Notes
------------------------------
XTNDConnectPC enables you to synchronise your appointments,
tasks, e-mails, notes and contacts with MS Outlook and/or Lotus Notes.
The default installation will only install support for MS Outlook.
For Lotus Notes support start setup and follow these steps:
InstallShieldWizard -> Choose your telephone -> License Agreement -> Choose Destination Location ->
-> Custom -> XTNDConnectPC -> Support for Lotus Notes versions.

For Lotus Notes support after installing SDS you have to start the setup.exe
and follow these steps:
Modify -> XTNDConnectPC -> Support for Lotus Notes versions.
The Setup can also be started via Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Siemens Data Suite ->
-> Change/Remove.

Day light saving time adjustment influencing synchronization
------------------------------------------------------------
If you use XTNDConnectPC for synchronization, please set the day light saving time in your mobile by following these steps in order to achieve correct synchronization:
Go to menu -> Setup -> Clock -> Time zones -> Options -> Set DST ON
Do NOT adjust time manually for day light saving time. If you do, this will lead all the time fields in the PIM one hour ahead after synchronization.

ME45 / S45 and SDS-Connection
-----------------------------
The mobiles of type ME45 and S45, are delivered with different
software versions (FirmWare). One part of this software version supports
"Auto-Baud-Rate" and is able to detect the correct baud rate automatically
without any further configuration. The other part does not support auto baud rate and
needs to be set manually. Check this by selecting:
menu -> setup -> connectivity -> baud rate.
The mobiles with Auto-Baud-Mode don't have the menu item "baud rate".
If you don't have "Auto-Baud-Rate" on your mobile, you have to set
the baud rate manually to 19200.
To do this select the following mobile menu items:
menu -> setup -> connectivity -> baud rate -> 19200
